Wedding Films

Who will be filming my wedding?

Many companies sub-contract their shooting and editing, but when you hire CinemaCapture, you get CinemaCapture. You will have Chris at every shoot, and none of the editing is contracted out.  All wedding collections include one (1) cinematographer assistant present on the wedding day as well to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What is "Wedding Day Coverage"?  Do we get 10 hours of video footage?

Coverage is the amount of time we’ll be there at your event. Our Featurette Collection comes with 10 hours of wedding day coverage. We recommend that we are there to cover all of the main events and at least 45 minutes of dancing for us to create the best film. You can always add hours to your package for more coverage.

How do you deliver our films?

We deliver your films to you online at their highest quality (High Definition) where you are able to view, share, and download them. You can still add-on DVDs (Standard Definition) and Blu-Ray Discs (High Definition) to your package if you’d like.

How do we book with you?

Once you make a decision, we require a completed Video Agreement Form (which we will email you once you choose a package) and a non-refundable $400 deposit to reserve the date. The remainder of your package cost is due in full two weeks prior to your wedding date.

What do you need from us prior to the event?

Our goal is to make your experience with us easy and as stress-free as we can. Therefore we try to require as little from you as possible. All we need from you is a detailed event timeline at least one week prior to the event.

Will you direct us, instructing us on what to do while filming is taking place?

The essence of our films is capturing the raw moments as they unfold. We rarely ask couple to do certain actions for the camera. We want your film to reflect you naturally.

Do you film the bride getting ready?

Yes, we make every effort to film the bridal prep as long as your package coverage time and locations allow it.

Do you mic the groom?

Yes, we mic the groom and officient with professional grade wireless mics and recorders to ensure the vows are captured clearly.

Do I get to pick my own music for my Wedding Films?

CinemaCapture will choose the song for your Cinematic Wedding Day Film as this is one of the most important aspects of our creative process. We license all of our music for our films from a handful of great music sites. We invite you to check out our portfolio of films to get a sense of the music we choose for our couples.

How long does it take to get our film back?

We know that nobody likes to wait 6 - 12 months for their film, so we make it our goal to begin editing shortly after your wedding, and promise to have your films ready for you within 90 days of your wedding!
